mixed experience at the hotel
chipped paint limited breakfast
the location is excellent for accessing nearby attractions.
i found some aspects disappointing. the room felt dated. there was chipped paint throughout the building. breakfast options were limited.

Excellent stay in a tranquil setting
room upgrade friendly staff comfortable room beautiful garden
I received a room upgrade upon arrival. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The room felt warm and very comfortable. The hotel offers hassle-free parking and boasts four acres of beautiful gardens.
The service was a little slow during breakfast. It took about 15 minutes to have our order taken.

The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Breakfast service is waiter service. This is much better than queuing at a buffet area (in my opinion).

Rooms are large and clean. Evening turn down service and a choice of newspapers were available. The hotel provides plenty of areas to relax in with very comfortable seating. The ambience all round is very relaxed.

Really good Stay
attentive service well kept gardens waiter service
The staff provided prompt and attentive service. The gardens were very well maintained. The swimming pool and steam room were clean , and I found them very relaxing. I observed that the breakfast service was waiter service only , which I much prefer to a buffet.
I noted that there was no shelf in the shower , , made it a little difficult to manage toiletries.

The room was large and clean. I noticed a turn-down service occurred each evening. I also received a choice of newspapers. I found that this added to the overall comfort of my stay.

The hotel is within walking distance of the city center. I timed it at approximately 20 minutes. It is accessible through the park and botanical gardens. This offers a convenient way to reach main attractions.

The hotel features a swimming pool and steam room. I also observed a spa area providing luxurious treatments. There were lawn games available in the garden area. Comfortable seating was available in multiple areas of the hotel.

I found every staff member to be friendly and helpful. I observed the reception was kind and efficient. The breakfast service was prompt and attentive. This level of service certainly enhanced my experience.

kind staff peaceful location complimentary newspaper
the staff were genuinely kind. the hotel is in a peaceful location. i appreciated the complimentary newspaper delivered each morning. (it's the little things!).
the outdoor pool had a few fallen leaves.

breakfast offered a good selection. the quality of the food was high. i also had a fine meal at the pantry, the presentation was great. i savored the breakfast overlooking the garden.

the front desk staff were always helpful. turndown service in the evening was a nice touch. dylan at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. the staff took their time to engage with all guests.

the indoor pool temperature was perfect. the spa has a steam room and a sauna. there is a lovely garden on the premises. there is also free parking available, a significant benefit.

i loved the room upgrade!
better room fabulous staff
I got upgraded to a better room and it was wonderful. the staff proved fabulous. i enjoyed the best massage i've ever had in the garden spa. The therapist's name was tracey, and she proved wonderful.
